Yes. The core service is completely free, there are no hidden costs to host your files. We put one ads banner to keep the server alive, but the service will always remain free to use.

No. Not everyone wishes to share the files they upload with everyone else. This way Drivebox can be used to share files with anyone you choose to, as well as keep it for yourself as a backup or to download from anywhere in the world.

Anything. Just keep it legal. Drivebox was built with love, to allow everybody to be able to share their files. We'll be able to keep offering the service as long as the files shared aren't breaking any laws. Please refer to our terms of service for more info.

Complaints. Files must adhere to our terms of service in order to remain hosted on Drivebox, repeatedly reported files will be automatically removed.

Unlimited. We do not impose bandwidth limits, your file can be continuously downloaded until the file is either deleted, or it expires.
